Think Like Your Potential Audience
We can often achieve wonderful results in terms of conversion rates on our website if we just looked at it through our customers’ - our store's target audience - eyes and try to think like them, try to figure out what they expect, what would make their lives easier, what would surprise them (Only good things!), what they would easily like, what could add interest to their lives, arouse their curiosity, attract them?
This change in perception, from thinking "I know what's good for you because I designed my brand and I know what I like and what I want to happen" to a different and new way of thinking of your target audience as:
"I know how to speak to your heart, how to get you interested, how to make you want my product - because I am one of you. I know what you are feeling, what you are looking for, and I am here to provide you with a solution, to mirror the feelings you crave, and I am constantly learning how to do things right, make things easier for you, make everything right and good for you".
At the end of the day, our audience is the one that builds our brand and helps our store thrive and succeed.
The success of our store is ultimately equal to the audience's interest, whether we’ve managed to be spot on, whether we were able to speak their language and be heard, whether we’ve succeeded to convey the feelings they were looking for, whether we are meeting their needs.
In other words, our relevance to our audience is the one that will determine whether or not our store will succeed.
